Comfortable home in Nanaimo, British Columbia. Main floor dining room, living room, sunroom & deck with fantastic ocean and mountain views.

Two bedrooms and 2 bathrooms upstairs. Wake to ocean views from king-size bed in master bedroom with ensuite. Queen bed in second main floor bedroom.

Lovely garden; yard frequented by deer, rabbits and variety of birds (we have a resident family of 20+ California quail and nearby eagle nests). We even occasionally see whales go by as we sit in the sunroom.

About the location

Swimming Beach 10 min walk. Other waterfront parks nearby. Scuba diving sites and wrecks. Kayak rentals, whale watching tours, and Golf courses nearby.

Nanaimo is on Vancouver Island, with easy day trips to Victoria (1 1/2 hour), Tofino-Pacific Rim National Park with ocean beaches & surfing (3 1/2 hours). Car/passenger ferry to Vancouver (2 hours).

Summers are warm (70-80F+) and sunny, with light ocean breezes.
