This is a large, modern, comfortable house with a big (980m2) garden, in a quiet street. It is 10km from the city centre. It is a very child-friendly house, with lots of toys and play equipment. It has a wonderful deck and a beautiful view over the city, 2 large living areas, BBQ and gym. Canberra is the capital of Australia, with a population of 320,000.It is very clean and safe. There is lots to do and see in the surrounding area (www.canberratourism.com.au).We are an easy 3 hr drive from Sydney, 1.5 hr to the beautiful south coast and 2 hrs from the ski slopes. If you are French and have school-age children, it may be possible to enrol them in a French-Australian school, a 15 min drive away. Cleaner and gardener may be included.
