Our village is in the north of Holland near unspoilt countryside with old villages, canals, dykes and windmills.It is a great area for cycling Our house is end of terrace and has a nice garden with patio. There are two bedrooms, an office room with computer and a hobby room. We have many English books and dvds. Supermarkets, small shops, cafés,restaurant, pizzeria 10 mins. away.
The old university town of Groningen with cinemas, museums, theaters is 10 minutes by train.
Amsterdam 2.5 hours away. We have a good and frequent train and bus service. Wadden Sea with Schiermonnikoog island (nature park) 1 1/2 hours away by car/bus and boat. Indoor pool in park 2 mins away. We have a small friendly cat.
