The house has a walled sunny garden and there are plenty of easy riverside and canalside walks.

Boroughbridge has one main street with a few excellent shops as well as plenty of Pubs and food outlets. The town being halfway between London and Edinburgh was a staging post for the stagecoaches making this journey. The house is easily accessed from the A1 Motorway.

There is a wealth of interesting places to visit within a few miles of the house and York, Harrogate and Ripon are all just a short drive away. Walkers and outdoor enthusiasts will enjoy exploring the North Yorkshire Moors and the Yorkshire Dales National Park. The North Yorkshire Coast and the Lakes District are both 1/2 hours drive away.
