Our home is a beautiful, comfortable detached house with open hill views to the rear and sea views to the front in the attractive seaside town of Largs. You can walk to the town centre and beach in 15 minutes.

With a large open plan living and dining room there is ample room to relax, watch TV, read and eat. There is a large wood burner for cozy nights in when the weather is cooler.
Our country style kitchen has a large range style cooker and beautiful views to the hills.
There’s a handy shower room downstairs and a full bathroom upstairs.
Upstairs there are two comfortable double bedrooms both with stunning views and our office.
We also have a comfortable inflatable full height double bed so can accommodate 6 people.
We have lots of music and books for you to enjoy.

There is a large garden with 3 separate seating areas. You can have your breakfast on the decking, lunch or dinner in the pagoda style deck while listening to the birds and the stream. We have lots of birds and other wildlife to watch from the garden.

We have 3 friendly cats and a Labrador dog in our home. Our dog is boarded elsewhere during swaps and we can arrange cat care if you want to travel while here.
We are happy to look after your pets too.

We have parking space for 3 cars and we have swapped cars before so open to this too.

About the location

Largs is a beautiful seaside town on the west coast of North Ayrshire. The views of the surrounding islands of Cumbrae, Bute and Arran make it a special place.
The sea front has a lovely walk way with palm trees. (Yes it is Scotland 😁). Lots of restaurants, shops and bars to keep you entertained. Largs is famous for Nardini’s ice cream and they have a beautiful Art Deco restaurant/ice cream parlour at the sea front.
There are golf courses, parks, a theatre and attractions within the town.
If you want to travel a little further then you can take the ferry to Cumbrae, visit Millport and cycle around the small island. A few miles north to Wemyss Bay and you can take the ferry to isle of Bute to visit lovely Rothesay. A few miles south and you can catch a ferry to Arran another beautiful island.
If shopping is your passion we are an hour from Glasgow city centre by train or car and two hours from Edinburgh.
You can explore Ayrshire towns and villages, beautiful beaches, history, castles, museums and art galleries easily.
Close to both Glasgow Airport (45 mins) and Prestwick (45 mins)
