A 18th century stone cottage in Monyash, a pretty village near the market town of Bakewell. Sitting room with huge stone fireplace, dining room and kitchen. Upstairs are two bedrooms and a large bathroom. It's very atmospheric, with exposed beams and thick walls. Outside, there is a cosy courtyard with garden furniture and bbq. There's a traditional pub in the village, serving good food and real ales. We're in the heart of the Peak National Park, famous for it's stunning unspoilt scenery, and perfect for walking, cycling, touring and more adventurous activities! The historic stately homes of Chatsworth and Haddon Hall are 15 mins away. As we're in central England most places are accessible, with Manchester and Nottingham about 1 hour away.
