Lovely 3 Bed home in SALISBURY, ENGLAND

We live in a chocolate-box, 17th century thatched cottage, with lots of character, an Aga & an inglenook fireplace. It is a comfortable, homely house; boots, beams and books! We are 7 miles from the beautiful mediaeval cathedral city of Salisbury with good road & rail links to Southampton, Winchester, Bournemouth, Bath & the West Country. Stonehenge is only 9 miles away. Winterslow village is friendly & self-contained with excellent shop, doctors surgery, Post Office, two pubs, tennis court & badminton club. Many lovely walks are here in the village, & a good bus service stops 100 yards away.

Central London 1.5 hours, Heathrow 50 minutes. We live in a stunning, unspoilt part of southern England, yet all amenities & a host of attractions are nearby. Salisbury will particularly appeal to those who love history, music, wining & dining, sport & outdoor life.

We have a pond with goldfish. We have two small dogs who are very people friendly, & love walks, but could be boarded if required. I have a large horse who has grass livery at a local farm, but is not a suitable ride for a novice. He can be cared for by others. BUT...we are sorry, we cannot come to a home with cats, as my husband is severely allergic to them..dogs however are fine.
