Ness Cottage

Ness Cottage is situated on the shoreline of Loch Ness, in the small village of Dores. This is on the south-east side of Loch Ness, approximately 8 miles from Inverness.
This is an apartment in the upper level of our house offering breath-taking views directly over the loch and the mountains beyond (maybe a sight of Nessie if you are lucky!)

The apartment has 2 bedrooms both en-suite, one with a king size and single bed, the other with a double bed. There is a a spacious open plan lounge with kitchen and dining area. We have a lovely little garden stretching to the loch-side.

In the community of Dores, there is a lovely beach and nearby woods to go exploring, and a playpark for children to enjoy. The loch is a great place to go canoeing and there are good cycle tracks nearby.

There is a local pub - the Dores Inn (150 metres walking distance), dinner bookings are advisable.
The nearest supermarket (Tesco) is approximately 6 mile to Inverness, (there are no shops in Dores).

This is an ideal location from which to explore the beautiful Highlands.
