It's a modern good size one bed apartment, with a small balcony, located next to the canal and a park. It's in a development of about 60 flats but it has a nice community feel to it, with a mix of young people, couples and families living here. The flat itself is comfortable, clean and tidy and warm. It has a fast internet connection (I work from home 3-4 days a week). The development is next to the river lea and there are good canal walks right on the doorstep (see pictures).

About the location

Clapton is a nice neighbourhood on the border of Hackney, Walthamstow and Leytonstone. There's a pub next door on the river lea, and green spaces all around including a park, the marshes and a nature reserve. The flat is a short walk from a nice street full of independent shops and cafes and restaurants (Chatsworth Road). An overground station ten mins walk away has trains to Liverpool street every 15 mins. The Olympic park can be reached on foot (30 mins) or by bike (15 minutes)
