Fig Cottage
Fig Cottage is a semi-detached contemporary home with a modern-country style. Opposite the church at the heart of Easton village, it's situated at the foot of the Mendip Hills, with the Somerset Levels stretching out to the south.
Our home has an open plan kitchen dining room, with french doors out to the south facing garden, and double doors into the living room with smart TV. There is a utility/laundry room and WC on the ground floor. On the first floor there is a family bathroom with separate bath and shower, an office/guest room with the option of single, twin or double configuration, and two further double bedrooms. The master has an ensuite with shower.
The garden has a dining patio, with table, chairs and heater. A small lawn and some shrubs, including climbing Jasmine and a beautiful Fig tree (hence the name Fig Cottage).
We have a driveway for two cars at the back of the house, accessed through the garden gate - which we use as our main entrance. We share the car port with our neighbours.
