Edwardian villa with great views

Large bright Edwardian villa with 3 double beds and nursery. Great views over the Menai Strait to Anglesey. It’s a semi which we fully renovated before moving here in 2017.

The ground floor comprises a living room, dining room, kitchen, utility room and WC.

The kitchen and utility are equipped with a dishwasher, Rangemaster gas/electric oven, top of the range Lelit coffee machine, fridge, freezer, child’s high chair and washing machine.

Wifi, DVD player and Sky tv are available.

On the first and second floor there are three double bedrooms - two king sized beds and one double. One bedroom has an ensuite (walk-in shower) and there are two other bathrooms too. There is also a large nursery (with cot, toysand changing mat etc) and study.

To the rear there is a patio area with gas barbecue and dining set, and a lawned garden. To the front there is offroad parking for two cars.

We are next to the A487, which is relatively busy during the day but quiet at night. The bus stop is 100m away and a large Morrisons with petrol station and charging point just 300m away. The nearest pub, Yr Alex, is also around 300m away. The local leisure centre and swimming pool are a 5 minute walk.

About the location

Located 100m from the Menai Strait which separates mainland Wales from Anglesey, we are a 5-10 minute walk from the centre of Caernarfon, home to Wales’ most famous castle and an UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is one of Gwynedd and north-west Wales’ main towns, with a population of around 6,000. The town is extremely charming - full of history and character.

We are a 15 minute drive from Llanberis - gateway to Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) - and north Eryri (Snowdonia) and a similar distance from the bridges to Ynys Môn (Anglesey). Zip World Bethesda is 20 minutes away by car.

Welsh is the main language spoken in Caernarfon, with around 80% of its inhabitants speaking the language.

The town’s attractions include the mighty 13th century castle, the Roman hill fort of Segontium, the Welsh Highland Railway (which runs for 25 miles to Porthmadog), Hwylfan Fun Centre and the scenic Lôn Eifion recreational cycle route. The narrow streets house a range of independent cafes, delis, pubs, restaurants and shops. Waterside Doc Fictoria is home to Galeri (contemporary arts complex with theatre and cinema).
