Mid Century Prairie Home - Madison, Wisconsin
Our home was designed by Herb Fritz, an apprentice of Frank Lloyd Wright in 1953. It is located close to downtown Madison, the University of Wisconsin and 100 ft.from Lake Mendota.(Merrill Springs Park). Our home is an open plan design with front and back decks, a yard and a public path down to the lake.
About the location
The area is residential with near by swimming, fishing, walking, biking,(many bike trails nearby) & kayaking. Summer evenings are spent on the Terrace of the Univ. of Wisconsin Memorial Union enjoying live music/sunset. The University offers boat rentals, gardens and museums to explore. Dinner cruises of Lake Mendota area also available during the summer. Golf, tennis, soccer nearby. Madison has a terrific home town soccer team to watch with band and all! Grocery and restaurants nearby.
