Cosy and comfortable terraced house - Liverpool

I live in a three bedroomed terraced home furnished with one single bed and two double beds, with family bathroom with bath and overhead shower. There is a double electric oven and gas hob in the open plan kitchen/dining room. There is gas central heating and in the living room there is a wood fired stove. (There is a supply of wood to the rear of the house). While my home may not be posh, it is comfortable and cosy. I have a lovely courtyard garden, giving plenty of sunshine during the summer months. Please be aware if you have poor mobility, the stairs are fairly steep. If a bed for a sixth person is needed, this is available.

There is a Nintendo Wii console with games, Wi-Fi, DVD player in living room, DVD/Blu-ray player in front room, 2 TV’s in 2 separate living areas. A keyboard and guitar are available, also a number of board games, drawing and some watercolour equipment, cards and books. I have a 9 year old black cat with full pet insurance. He is friendly and would love to be fed and petted. During the summer the garden would need to be watered please, and house plants generally would need to be watered. A car exchange is possible if required. There is also a bike available.

About the location

I live in a quiet residential street, and there is a nice park with playgrounds, squirrels, geese and ducks within a five minute walk. We are only a 5 to 10 minute walk from bus routes into the city centre, or for a more picturesque walk to bus stops, this can be had by walking across the park, taking 10 -15 minutes. There is an excellent Turkish restaurant within a five minute walk, and supermarkets are close at hand. There are a number of very good gyms with swimming pools run by Liverpool City Council, which can be attended for the price of an affordable one month membership.

If you want to visit Liverpool, the city made famous by the Fab Four (the Beatles) and enjoy the amazing nightlife, visit Knotty Ash made famous by the late great Sir Ken Dodd, visit our magnificent Anglican cathedral (the longest in Europe) designed by Sir Giles Gilbert Scott (we also have one to spare), enjoy the world famous waterfront dominated by the Three Graces and take the Mersey Ferry made famous by Gerry Marsden, or just want to be able to visit your son or daughter attending one of our four universities, this is a perfect location. It is also a perfect base for being able to attend the Grand National at Aintree or the Royal Birkdale Open Golf Championships, or if you have arranged a home match at Liverpool or Everton, both football grounds being within walking distance. There are a range of good theatres in the city, with museums, art galleries and a lovely library. Liverpool is also home to the Tate of the North. It is a great jumping off point for visiting North Wales, the Lake District, the Peak District or Yorkshire, and the Roman city of Chester, with its world renowned zoo.
