Charming 3 BR apartment in Latin Quarter

This is a charming three bedroom apartment in the Quartier Latin, near Pantheon, jardin du Luxembourg, rue Mouffetard, a vibrant area. Several buses and metro Censier-Daubenton lead everywhere in Paris: Louvre, Opera, Beaubourg, the Marais...

100 square meters, first floor with lift, 19th century building. There are fireplaces and large mirrors in living room and bedrooms, a Prussian oven in the dining room, hardwood floor. One side of the apartment overlooks a quiet courtyard with trees and a small garden plenty of flowers (which is very rare in the heart of a 'stone-city' like Paris). Two bedrooms with kingsize beds (that can be pulled apart in two separate beds), one bedroom with a single bed, dining room with an extra bed, living room, one bathroom (with tub), one shower room, separate WC. A lot of towels and bedlinen are provided (and duvets, pillows etc...). It's a nice and peaceful place to stay. The heating works very well (individual heating gaz boiler).

There is a fitted kitchen with microwave, ceramic glass cooktop, traditional built in oven, coffee machine Nespresso, toaster, fridge and freezer, electric kettle, washing machine and a lot of plates, mugs, cutlery, pans...

It is a recently refurbished apartment, sunny and bright, all white, with a lot of French and English books (art, literature, Paris museums...).The apartment is suitable for five persons (no more than 4 adults).

Amenities: TV with international channels, hi-speed broadband internet connection with Wifi, VCR, DVD player, hi-fi system, telephone (free for international calls)... And a piano!

It's a very nice and friendly neighbourhood. Most of the people living in the building are good friends of ours. It's a very lively place, full of café and small restaurants that are open over the weekend. A typically left bank atmosphere but not a posh one, more family like, many students around because of La Sorbonne and top French high schools.

The rue Mouffetard (3 minutes walk) is a typical French street, very pictoresque, with its traditional outdoor fruit and vegetable markets, cheese shops and typical bakeries (with delicious cakes and breads) and groceries. Three time a week is a farmers’ market in Place Monge (5 minutes walk) selling fresh products.

The jardin du Luxembourg and the Jardin des Plantes are only 10 minutes walk, Saint-Germain des Prés, La Seine and Notre-Dame-de Paris are 15 minutes walk. Several buses are few steps from our door, subway Censier-Daubenton is 5 minute walk, subway Luxembourg 10 minutes maximum. It's a perfect place for visiting Paris and enjoying the typical parisian way of life of the left Bank.

I am a professor of 18th Century French Literature and currently live in London with my husband and my son. During our stay abroad, we are happy to let our home to visitors for short term rentals (maximum of one month).

As this is our home in Paris, we would be pleased to know about our guests. Therefore, there are a couple of questions on our website. We would be grateful if you can answer them.
