Old church conversion in historic seaside town home swap

Very unusual conversion of 19th century Methodist chapel into 4 apartments each on three levels. The apartment has 2 bedrooms and a bathroom on the 1st floor , and a two storey living room with an huge granite church window overlooking terraced roofs and the bay beyond. Here is also the open plan kitchen and living space. Up another flight of stairs has a narrow gallery with a viewing point of the sea and an unofficial double sleeping area- with low mattress.
The apartment is 200 yards from the rail station and shops and wonderful pubs all within walking distance.

About the location

Penzance is a charming end of the railway town which once was prosperous from tin and copper mining nearby. These days no longer prosperous yet still charming. West Cornwall has superb light and coastline and for 100 years has been renowned centre for artists. There are dozens of art galleries and nearby St Ives is a tourist attraction and can be reached by train easily with one of the best small train rides along the coast! Newlyn fishing village and other picturesque villages dot the coastline. Great place for families with young children as Cornwall has great sandy beaches and good bus connections. It's also wonderful for the mature travellers looking for coastal walks. Surfers heaven!
