Coastal Wilderness home swap

The house is located on the wilderness coast in the middle of the Croajingolong National Park in the small township of Mallacoota. Our home has recently been renovated and has two living areas. The main bedroom has a queen-size bed and the 2 bedrooms downstairs have a double bed and a single bed. The house sits on 3 acres of garden over looking Mallacoota Lake, the lighthouse on Gabo Island and the Howe Range. We have many garden visitors including kangaroos, koalas, ducks, kookaburras, plovers, lorikeets and black cockatoos. Due to the abundance of wildlife we are not open to pets. At the bottom of the garden is a shared walking and bike track, one way is an easy walk to town and the opposite way is a comfortable walk to the Croajingolong National Park.

Welcome to Mallacoota

One of Gippsland’s, and indeed Victoria’s, little gems, Mallacoota is the state’s most easterly town, snuggled on the vast Mallacoota Inlet and surrounded by the tumbling hills and beachside dunes of beautiful Croajingolong National Park. Those prepared to come this far are treated to long, empty, ocean-surf beaches, tidal estuaries and swimming, fishing and boating on the inlet
