About the location
We have the best of both worlds, being on the edge of the city it takes only 15 minutes by bus to get to the city center. It also feels like a relatively peaceful place to retreat to if you like bird watching we see Herons fishing in the Firth of Forth, kittwakes and cormarants and boats come and go. We are one block from the cycle path network which links across the whole city with out crossing many roads. Bus number 16 goes from our door to Leith every 10 minutes and into the city center. Buses 10, 11, 7, 23 all serve near by, going regularly to the center, takes about 20 minutes to Princes Street. We may consider bike share, car share depending our situation. The famous Alien Roack climbing centre is 5 mintues walk form the house as are Loch Fyne restaurant and an array of other restaurants and pubs.
