Family-friendly Villa in Menorca with gorgeous sea views, and spacious garden

We offer for exchange our family house in Menorca during off-peak season (October through May).
The villa is set on three levels, with beautiful, rich lawns, ample parking and beautiful views over the quaint village of Es Castell to the sea. The house itself offers comfortable accommodation both internally and externally. The house is furnished to a high standard. There is air conditioning/heating in all the bedrooms.
The Villa offers a very safe environment for younger children, the garden being entirely walled. Very good bedroom/ bathroom arrangements for large parties. The pool, within shady surrounds, is an excellent focal point for both children and adults.
The front entrance to our Villa opens into a hallway with a staircase to the upper levels. On the ground floor of Villa Sol Del Este are two twin bedrooms sharing a bathroom and a double bedroom with en suite bathroom. At the end of the hall a door leads out to the pool terrace and gardens. On the first floor this Menorcan villa has a lounge/dining room with patio doors allowing plenty of natural light, opening onto a covered terrace. From here steps lead down to the private pool. Adjacent to the living room is a separate kitchen, which is beautifully tiled.
On this same floor is a double bedroom with en suite bathroom, a twin bedroom, a single bedroom and a shared bathroom. Further stairs lead to the upper level of this Es Castell holiday villa where there is a second lounge with patio doors to the roof terrace.
Outside Villa Sol Del Este, the pool terraces are walled to give a good deal of privacy. Slightly raised from the pool area itself, there is an attractive stone barbecue and seating area, great for alfresco dining. The villa also enjoys ample, rich lawns with scattered flowers and palm trees.

About the location

Menorca is a great destination for those who enjoy the sea and beatiful (yet) unspoilt beaches.
Our villa is in the residential area of Sol Del Este, which literally translates to 'Eastern sun'. Located in the most easterly township in Menorca, making it the first place in Spain to receive the early morning sun.
The Villa stands in a privileged position with uninterrupted views over the entrance to Mahon's magnificent harbor. Located on the outskirts of the village of Es Castell with many local shops, bars and even a weekly gypsy market. There are two well-frequented restaurants within a five minute walk of the villa and many more within a further ten minutes.
You are able to take a leisurely stroll to Calas Fons and relax by the water’s edge, sipping a cold drink or dining in one of the quaint cafes. The cobbled steps leading down to the portside are draped with colorful stalls selling everything from shoes to trinkets.
A five minute drive will take you to the main Mahon harbour. Admire the rows of sumptuous yachts, some available for daily charter, with or without crew. You'll be spoilt for choice by the wide variety of chic bars.
The village of San Luis - the gateway to the east coast resorts and beaches is only a short drive away along a quiet country road and the white, sandy beaches of Punta Prima and Salgar are just a few minutes drive away.
