Semi-detached townhouse home swap

Our home is a modern townhouse, three years old. It is part of a new development in the centre of Chester, a small, historic city with Roman origins. The house has three storeys and a garden at the back, with a patio area, a BBQ and trampoline. On the ground floor there is a large kitchen/dining room, a small living room with a leather sofa bed and a WC. On the first floor there is the main living room, a bathroom and a bedroom. On the top floor there are three more bedrooms, the master bedroom having an en suite bathroom.
Our house is only 10 minutes' walk from Chester Station and from the shops, restaurants and tourist attractions of the town centre. For children, Chester Zoo is the largest in the UK and only a few kilometres away is the Blue Planet Aquarium.

About the location

Chester is in the north-west of England, very close to the Welsh border and the larger cities of Liverpool and Manchester. London is only a two hour train journey. Chester itself is a beautiful, ancient city which still boasts Roman walls, an amphitheatre and Roman gardens. Many tourists come here for its unique "rows" which are half-timbered two-storey shopping streets, to visit the cathedral and museums. The River Dee is popular for boating and riverside walks and the Racecourse is one of the most famous in the country. For children, Chester Zoo is the largest in the UK and only a few kilometres away is the Blue Planet Aquarium.
From Chester, in addition to the famous cities of Liverpool and Manchester, it is also easy to visit the mountains and coast of North Wales and the pretty villages of rural Cheshire.
