We are an academic couple with two sons looking to spend the 6 week UK summer school holidays (mid-July through end August 2014) in LA, preferably close to the beach/lively neighbourhood: Santa Monica, Venice, Marina del Rey, Pacific Palisades, etc.

We offer: a classic Victorian London town house: 5 bedroom family home in E5 (Stoke Newington/Clapton borders), a vibrant, ethnically and religious diverse area of inner London (zone 2). 10 minutes walk from Stoke Newington High Street and Stoke Newington Church Street, a lively, family friendly London neighbourhood: many restaurants, bars, excellent independent shops (delis, grocers, good quality fishmongers and butchers, farmers market, boutiques etc.) Local parks: Clissold Park, Springfield park. Local cuisine: Spanish, Italian, Turkish, Vietnamese, Indian, West Indian, West African etc.

Large rooms, high ceilings, all mod cons, cable TV, wireless broadband.
