Barnes is one of London's most unspoiled and desirable areas. It has a charming old village at its centre, complete with green and pond bounded by the Thames and large commons.

The house was built 9 years ago. Single storied, it is exceptionally light, bright and sunny all year round. Well equipped and comfortable it has underfloor heating and double glazing making it a comfortable and warm winter venue. It is easy to maintain.

Situated at the top of a private lane behind security gates the house is private and quiet. Free from traffic (the street is no exit) and people. The locality is very quiet.

Car parking is free and behind the gates.

Amenities, shops, buses,cinemas, theatre
restaurants, and cafes are very close (within walking distance) as is the underground (Hammersmith) and the mainline (Barnes)with quick links to
central London, Chiswick, Richmond and Kensington.

Ham House and Hampton Court are also
easy to get to.

Heathrow is a quick and direct journey on the underground from Hammersmith.

Access to the countryside by car, to Windsor and the West is simple via the M4 which is accessed very quickly from Barnes.

Food shopping is easy either near the house or in Hammersmith where there is a Marks and Spencer, Sainsburys, Boots etc. On-line shopping is widely available.

The Thames is 5 minutes away offering delightful towpath walks and architecture. Kew gardens, Richmond Park are near as is a large Wetland Centre.

The garden is completely private and requires little winter maintenance.It is well planted and pleasant even in winter.
