Hackney is a lively and interesting area of inner London, near to central London and the city of London (financial district). Many facilities near our home. Marina, park, tennis courts, riding school, ice rink, climbing centre, kayaking, nature reserve and two miles from Olympic Park. Cycle routes along river. Also Hackney`s urban entertainments including theatres, music venues, Shoreditch nightlife, Stoke Newington`s cafes and restaurants. Bus to Manor House tube on Piccadilly Line (zone 2, quick to West End with its shops, theatres and entertainments). Clapton Station is a 10 - 15 minute walk and has trains which take 10 minutes into the City.

We have a friendly cat who needs feeding.

About the location

We live in Clapton which is part of Hackney, inner London (zone 2). Our home which is an apartment on two floor, private, quiet and spacious, feels like a house, overlooks a river and marshes - a nature reserve - out of the window you can see canoeists, cyclists and joggers. We are very near a large and beautiful park. The apartment is quiet and the air is good but we are near lively urban areas with lots of entertainment and things to see. Excellent for cyclists. Manor House tube (zone 2, Piccadilly Line) is a short bus ride away and from there it is only 16 minutes by tube to the centre (West End). The stops for the British Museum, National Gallery, and all the museums in South Kensington are on this line.

We are seeking a longer exchange in Bath or within easy reach from late April for one or two months.
