Hidden gem of east London home swap

Looking for a longer swap to NYC (1-6 months) in 2016!

Our apartment in the heart of London's fashionable East End, less than a minute from major Tube lines which will take you all across the city. Walking distance to the markets, vintage shops, galleries, bars and restaurants of Brick Lane and Shoreditch, London's most creative area. There are great coffee, brunch and dining spots within 2 minutes from our front door.

Also a short hop from the Olympic Park, the City, the River Thames, beautiful Victora Park (great for summer picnics) and walks along Regents Canal.

The apartment is on a main road, safe and secure, and relaxing and cosy inside, full of art and interesting bits and pieces. There is a (comfortable) fold-out sofabed for visitors. Supermarkets, restaurants, historic pubs and an independent cinema are all minutes away.

It's the perfect home for those who like a quirky space and to be close to all London has to offer.

About the location

Stepney Green is one of the newest east London creative hubs. It's a slight hidden gem yet amazingly well connected, safe and pretty and only minutes from some of the area's top attractions, for example Victoria Park, the Olympic Village, Columbia Road Flower Market, Brick Lane, Whitechapel Gallery. It has all the amenities you could want within a short stroll from the front door including Thai, Chinese and Indian restaurants, a fashionable burger joint, weekend brunch spots, a wine bar and craft ale pub. Plus three supermarkets, many independent shops and stalls, and even a local cinema 2 minutes from the front door!
