A two minute walk on the other side of the canal lies open countryside, known as Port Meadow, the River Thames with lots of wildlife.

Central Oxford has some wonderful museums, fabulous college buildings with lovely gardens to stroll in, a castle, the botanic gardens, the covered market and open spaces with river walks, and all so accessible.

You can find so much to do locally that you may not want to go far, however, you have easy access to the beautiful Cotswold countryside and historic sites such as Blenheim Palace, Shakespeare's Stratford and so on. This is a great place to be.
