Recently extended cottage in rural Oxfordshire - edge of the Cotswolds

Lovely stone cottage in rural North Oxfordshire hamlet. With all of the Cotswolds to explore.

Please note: we are essentially 3 adults. Our boys are now 18 and 14, the youngest is almost 6ft and would not be comfortable in anything smaller than a single bed. Please no cabin/bunk/junior beds

Private parking. Large private garden. 12 miles from Oxford, with its Museums and theatres. 15 minutes to Chipping Norton. 7 miles to Blenheim Palace and Woodstock. Waddesdon Manor 17 miles. The famous Bicester shopping village 10 miles. A forty minute drive to Stratford-upon-Avon.
London is easily accessible, we go for the day to site see, or for a theatre show. It`s a 15 minute drive to Bicester North station, then 1 hour train ride to Marylebone station.

For Soho farmhouse members we live a short distance from Great Tew.

Legoland Windsor 1.5 hrs. Warner Brothers Studio The new Harry Potter studio tour 1.5 hrs drive. Crocodiles of the world 30 mins drive.

Suitable for families with children. Or couples wanting a relaxing break.

Kitchen: Everhot cooker (similar to an Aga) fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave. Utility room: washing machine, tumble dryer. Cloakroom. Hall way. Dining room with piano. Large sitting room with log burner, Plasma tv, dvd player and Sky. Snug with tv and Xbox/PlayStation. Internet access.

Main bedroom: Superking size bed, with en-suite shower and loo. 2nd bedroom: Double bed, en-suite bathroom. We can add a single bed or travel cot in this room. 3rd bedroom: Double bed. 4th bedroom: Single bed. Family bathroom.

Garden toys, swings, large trampoline with safety enclosure.

About the location

Surrounded by countryside, yet close to easy access into Oxford, Stratford and London.

On the Edge of the Cotswolds. National trust properties within easy reach for days out. Waddesdon Manor and Snowshill are family favourites. Close by is Woodstock the home of Blenheim place, a stunning place to visit, walking in the great park, wandering around the formal gardens, and trying to find your way around the maze. In Woodstock itself are several great pubs. And coffee shops.
