A Beach House Russell - Bay of Islands

This is our Summer House with our own private beach front and half acre of native bush.

As this is our second home we have no problems in exchange and dates are very flexible.

By the way, if you are into seafoods, fresh oysters and mussels grow on the rocks at the bottom of the garden in a safe tranquil swimming Bay opening to the Pacific Ocean.

Dolphins come into our Bay a number of times a year plus the occasional pod of orcas.

Seasons here are the opposite of what they are in the Northern Hemisphere, with the best summer months falling in November through to March/April.

The house built (mid 70`s) of natural timbers and cedar is of 3 bedrooms. The Home also has two lounges plus large decks and Bar-B-Q area, a modern laundry which includes automatic washing machine and dryer and a kitchen with dishwasher, fridge, freezer and pantry.

The spacious double bedroom has King size bed and seperate ensuite (WC/Shower). The other two upstairs bedrooms each have 2 single beds and a shared bathroom. (Shower over bath). All bedrooms have windows or french doors overlooking the bay.

Native birds inhabit the bush and you can hear the kiwi at night. Also at night you can watch the Satellites going overhead in a fabulous southern hemisphere star studded sky which includes the famous Southern Cross.
