The garden overlooks uninterrupted views of the surrounding countryside. A car is essential. We can make our car available by arranging the necessary insurance cover.
Bodiam and its famous castle is 1 km away. Hawkhurst is a larger village 4 km away. It has a post office, small supermarket, banks and chemist. The main line station is 6 km away in a village called Etchingham. There is a half hourly service to London which takes 1 hour. In the opposite direction the train takes you to Hastings, a seaside town on the south coast.
