Lovely 2 Bed home in CHISELBOROUGH, ENGLAND

A small hamstone cottage set in quiet village & conservation area. To the rear of the cottage sheep graze on a common, which has never been cultivated so has rare flora/fauna. Chiselborough is about 22 miles east of Taunton (home of the county cricket ground), has excellent walking from the garden gate and is centrally located for access to NT properties and gardens, Glastonbury, Wells, Bath and Exeter and the Jurassic coast for anybody interested in fossil hunting. There is a local pub in the village, serving real ales and excellent home produced food (see web link for sample menu). For a noisier nightlife Taunton has a number of clubs/pubs open until the early hours.

Cottage has 2 double bedrooms (master/king-size & south facing view over fields). Upstairs bathroom has separate shower & large claw-foot bathtub. Lounge has exposed hamstone walls & log burner stove (additional to the old fashioned cast-iron radiators of the central heating). Kitchen contains usual appliances inc dishwasher. The landscaped garden is set into the hill, has decking at the rear of the cottage with fixings for my double hammock & at the top of the garden is a patio area with a large
summerhouse.

Local wildlife includes pets, farm animals, badgers, deer, llamas and a variety of birds inc buzzards.
