Children are welcome, however there are no toys or childproof security features in the apartment. Well behaved dogs are welcome. Please clean up after your dog within the grounds.

About the location

Eastbourne is 'the sunniest place in the UK' and has been voted UK's top holiday destination by Virgin Money Travel Insurance.

It is a fantastic location for walkers and outdoor enthusiasts, with the flat being located on the edge of the south downs, close to Beachy Head and the famous Seven Sisters as well as close to loads of other stunning walks.

The long seafront in Eastbourne is very pretty and has an upper and lower path, both of which are protected from traffic. The sea front is lined primarily by Edwardian and Victoria hotels and there are few high rise buildings.

Eastbourne has three theatres and in the summer the fantastic Victorian bandstand offers an array of concerts. The famous pier is great to visit and also regularly offers live music. There is also a miniature steam railway and treasure island for kids as well as a very good shopping centre which has a Cineworld cinema.

The Towner Gallery hosts art exhibitions (in 2023 they hosted the Turner Prize), workshops, performance art and independent cinema.

Eastbourne also has a harbour with a number of restaurants and cafes with the opportunity to book boat tours. In addition there is a water sports centre where canoes and surf boards can be hired.

There are also a large range of excellent restaurants, cafes and pubs to choose from including independents and chains.

Eastbourne is close to Lewes, Brighton and Hastings (25, 40 and 35 minutes respectively by direct train). There is also a direct train link to London (1 hour 30 mins).

If you have your own car it will make visiting other local villages and walks easy, however there is no necessity as there is plenty on the doorstep and Eastbourne also has excellent train links.
