The apartment is filled with art and an interesting books to browse and immerse in. It is light with full length windows in the living room. Which gives it a bright and airy feel. There is plenty of desk space for projects and remote working. One bedroom has a king size bed and the other can be used as a second office space.

The bathroom is nothing fancy yet is clean and adequate for 2 people staying, with a bath and shower. The toilet is separate from the bathroom.

The windows in the bedrooms and kitchen have a fabulous view over Beckenham. There are lots of trees and also a great view of St George’s church.

We have a washing machine and there is line drying in the garden or a laundrette with speedy dryers 5 mins walk away.

There are two electric bikes (his and hers sizes) for exploring the area.

About the location

Our home is in a great neighbourhood that has 2 train stations within 10 mins walk for easy access to London; with all the sights of the city just half an hour to an hour away. There are trains out to kent famously known as the garden of England. Also a tram and train that goes to Brighton a popular seaside town.

There are three beautiful parks within walking distance, one a country park with a lake for all year round wild swimming. Which also has ancient woodland, a Sunday farmers market
And two lovely cafes.

The town of Beckenham has a good choice of restaurants that cover a variety of tastes and three supermarkets for convenience. We are in a great location; all amenities are within walking distance.

For historical reference David Bowie lived and played here in his younger years and the band stand where he played has been recently restored to its full glory.

Beckenham has been named in the Sunday Times Best Places to Live guide because of its green spaces and Rock history.
