Beautiful Farmhouse in Fife
Our home in Scotland was built around 1780 and has a private, walled garden. We live in a small village on the banks of the River Forth, mid-way between Edinburgh and Glasgow. We can accommodate up to 5 people in 3 bedrooms (an en-suite double, a twin and a single). If we are hosting, you’ll have exclusive use of the sitting room with TV and streaming services.
About the location
Kincardine is the ideal base for exploring the Scottish Central Belt. Edinburgh, Glasgow, Stirling, St Andrews, Perth, Dundee, the Trossachs and the East Neuk of Fife are all within a 30 - 60 minute drive. Why not travel to Scotland’s capital in style by taking the train from nearby Dunfermline across the famous Forth Bridge? Edinburgh hosts the world’s largest arts festival (literally thousands of comedy, drama and music events) every August. If your tastes are a little more sedate, the historic village of Culross is only a leisurely walk or cycle away. If you like castles, lochs, mountains, glens and beaches or hiking, fishing and golf, you’re sure to find something you’ll enjoy. The only thing we can’t guarantee is sunshine, but fish’n’chips or a wee dram are always lovely whatever the weather.
