Semi-detached Victorian house covering 200sqm with five bedrooms, a south facing garden, off road parking, in a beautiful neighbourhood in central Hove, 5 mins walk from the mainline London station.

The house is on a quiet and pretty road and is well-suited for families, with five bedrooms of different sizes, mostly doubles but some singles and can easily be adapted to suit different families. There is a family bathroom upstairs on the first floor and loft conversion on the second floor with emperor bed and en suite including a walk in shower and WC, as well as views out to sea. There is also a separate play room/dining room/spare bedroom downstairs which can be adapted to sleep additional people with temporary beds and a separate living room.

Please note we moved in five years ago and are gradually making improvements to the house. We have completed almost everything now bar the family bathroom and the garden, which we will be working on in the coming months. We have renovated the house from top to bottom to a very high standard including a large 10m long kitchen with dining space, a double fridge freezer, insulation on all walls internally and externally, solar PV and many other improvements. We have also retained period features. The house has not been easy but we are very lucky to have it!

About the location

The house is on a quiet road 5 minutes walk from Hove station, 5 minutes train to Brighton, 30 minutes to London Gatwick and an hour from London Victoria station.

The immediate area is called Hove Villas and is full of beautiful houses from the 1880s. To the north of the house is Hove Park with a Waitrose supermarket and to the south across the is central Hove, with a range of shops and restaurants. Beyond central Hove and the shops leads on to the beach and the sea, approximately 15-20 minutes walk from the house. Brighton is a fabulous city with lots to offer - history, good restaurants, culture and seaside, and day trips to London are easy with all that a global metropolis has to offer.
