The perfect vineyard view

Perched on a hill near the village church, our house has superb views over Bordeaux vineyards and plenty of home comforts. There is an outdoor pool, a summer kitchen and a choice of places outside to sit and relax with a glass of wine, while contemplating the ripening fruit trees. Inside, there's a wood burning stove for cooler days, a comfortable sitting room and four bedrooms, two on the ground floor. The master bedroom enjoys spectacular landscapes from bed or balcony.
We are only half an hour from Bergerac airport and an hour from Bordeaux.
Please note that the house is rented out during the high summer - July, August & September so these months are unavailable for swaps.

About the location

This is a peaceful corner of Aquitaine mainly devoted to agriculture; apart from vines, there are the noted local plums, dried for prunes. Visitors can hike, cycle or canoe on the river Dordogne. Ste. Foy la Grande has a marvellous weekly market and there are many more to explore in the area. St-Emilion is not far away and the historic city of Bordeaux repays exploration.
