Lovely 3 Bed home in Deal, England

Cosy smuggler's cottage located in the Conservation area of Deal, one of the original ancient Cinque Ports on the East Kent coast. The photograph of Deal Pier is taken from the end of my little street, with the French coast in the background.

London is about 90 minutes away on the Fast link train directly into St Pancras International, or just over 2 hours on the slower train.

France is easily accessible either using the tunnel or Ferry (15 minutes away). You could also get the Eurostar train directly into Paris from Ashford.
Canterbury and its wonderful cathedral is 30 minutes away.

The house is very compact and cosy, with a lovely inglenook fireplace and gas fire. However one thing to be aware of is that the staircases are steep because of the 'quirkiness' of these old properties.

I have 2 Bengal cats, so the ideal arrangement would be that the swapee(s) could look after them, but obviously flexible about this.

Great area for cycling, 2 bicycles for your use.

The cottage would make a wonderful base for a golfer as there are many authentic Links (3 British Open courses!) within easy reach of a few well struck woods, all wonderful winter courses, no mud or temporary greens! The wonderful Surrey heathland courses start about 90 minutes away (Walton Heath, Sunningdale, Wentworth etc. etc.)

Littlestone - 45 minutes
Rye - 60 minutes

I could also provide membership cards for Arsenal FC, which allows you to buy tickets for their home English Premiership Matches.
