Our home enjoys far reaching views over Caernarfon bay and the Isle of Anglesey. We are within 4 miles of the Snowdonia National Park and offer a convenient base to discover all of the many and beautiful attractions that North Wales has to offer and a chance to see and experience Welsh heritage and culture. The village of Llanberis (at the foot of Mount Snowdon) is four miles away from our home. The popular forest village of Betws-y-coed and the Victorian seaside town of Llandudno are within a 30 minute drive. The Roman city of Chester is a one hour journey. Whilst we live in a rural area, city shopping, multiplex cinema, theatre and great places to eat are all easily accessible so you can have the best of both worlds. Good road/motorway links to airport - Manchester (2hrs) and Liverpool (1hr 30mins).
Our home is a detached, spacious four bedroomed house, with conservatory. It has all the usual modern conveniences and is a comfortable and well maintained family home.
We have a large garden which has four seperate patio areas and is beautiful to sit and relax in as it gets the sun from morning to night. The garden is also well equipped for children with swings, slide, trampoline and large pool in the summer months. Our summer house and decking is the perfect place to relax and eat breakfast as it catches the early morming sun.
Local shops are one mile away. The local pub is very family friendly, within a one mile walking distance and is a great place to eat out in the evening. The food and real ale are fantastic.

We are a careful and considerate family of four. I am originally from Liverpool but have lived in North Wales for over twenty years. My husband was born and bred in Llanberis. I am a clinical psychologist and my husband is a nurse manager working in the field of mental health. We have two boys are aged 12 and 8. Both boys love sports and being outdoors. As a family we enjoy walking, canoeing, cycling and travel.
We would take great care of your home and if required we would be happy and willing to look after your pets and water your garden/plants etc.... We have a dog, two cats and two goldfish. When we exchange our dog goes into kennels but we would be very grateful if the exchange party would feed out well behaved cats and goldfish. However, if this is not possible we do have a very friendly neighbour who could do this.
We have been exchanging our home now for over nine years and have done numerous exchanges. We have exchanged with families in the UK, Belgium, France, Switzerland, The Netherlands and Canada. If required, references can be be provided.
