Malaysia is an interesting multi-cultural country. We have a large family house in Kuala Lumpur (just 15 minutes to the City centre) that could accommodate large families. We live in a very local neighbourhood, and if you want to experience Malaysian life, this is it! The street cafes are open 24 hours a day - a meal for one costs a mere U$1. However, our house has large grounds and is set away a bit from the hub, so it's quiet and secluded.
Kuala Lumpur is a convenient base for travelling in South East Asia, with many of the destinations served by budget airlines such as www.airasia.com and www.fireflyz.com.my.
Included in the exchange is a live-in maid and a car. We have 1 dog and 2 cats that the maid looks after.

We are a British family. Malcolm (50) teaches at an international school and Jacquie (41) is a homemaker. Our children are pretty cosmopolitan, having lived in several countries in the world.
Our families are still in the UK (London and Portsmouth). We return to the UK every summer to spend time with the family. The home exchange we are looking for in London would be an 'overspill from the in-lawshouse, as it would drive me crazy to be cooped in the same house as my in-laws for 6 weeks!
