Inside house it has a 50" plasma TV, Wii, PS3, DVD, WIFI, PC, Jacuzzi Bath, outside the house it has a trampoline, slide, bikes, BBQ, etc. We are walking distance to supermarket, cinema, bowling, restaurants, deli/cafe. Local Bus Stop 3 mins walk, train station 10 mins walk. Driving to Edinburgh(14 mls-20mins); Perth, Stirling, St Andrews, Glasgow and the Highlands all within an hour. Many good golf courses nearby and fishing and other sports also available. Beach at Aberdour 10 mins drive and the lovely village of Elie with its great beach-30 mins drive.
Dunfermline is famous for Andrew Carnegie and it was once the capital of Scotland. It has numerous shops, restaurants and night life, with the lovely Pittencreiff Park donated by A. Carnegie to the city. The ancient village of Culross is only 5 miles away with its outstanding architecture. A great place to choose as a base to see all that Scotland has to offer! 20 mins to Edinburgh airport and Prestwick is 1.5 hours for cheap flights (Ryanair, Glasgow airport 1hr. We are a party of 5, Vikki & Craig who own and run a local Michelin awarded restaurant in North Queensferry. www.theweerestaurant.co.uk Prior to this Vikki was a Psychiatric Nurse and Craig has always been a Chef. We have 3 children, Ethan, Zoe and Innes, not forgetting Scruffy the dog & Wilbur the Cat too. Scruffy goes on his holidays to Granny's house when we are away, but it would be good if Wilbur was taken care of in his own home by any exchangers. He can go to a Cattery if necessary. We are interested in fine food and wine and most sports. We like to ski in the winter and in the summer we like long walks with the kids and dog, play tennis and golf. We are open to offers but in particular wish Europe for a week, fortnight or long weekends or weekends in the UK. We have a second property thus can arrange non-simultaneous swaps also. E.G. maybe a ski resort in winter for a swap with us in the summer! We have exchanged in Boston 2 years ago and had a brilliant time. We also recently went to the Lake District, England for the weekend on a house swap which was great. Looking forward to doing it again!
