2010 Winter Olympics! 40 minutes from many venues. Excellent public transit. We have a bright modern 1100sf.condo, 2nd floor. Main bedroom has queen sized bed full ensuite. 2nd bedroom is used as a den/office with a queen sized sofabed. All shops, restaurants, banks, parks are within walking distance. The beach is a 20min. walk but we have a regular local bus service to beach areas. 2 mountain bikes are available to explore the many bike routes and park trails.
White Rock has a vibrant small town atmosphere with all amenities and excellent restaurants. Vancouver is 50 mins by bus/skytrain or a 35 min by car. Best weather here. We are 7 kms from the Washington U.S. border. Ideal base to explore beautiful BC and Pacific West Coast.

We're an active retired couple recently returned to B.C. last year after 4 years in Europe where we fell in love with France. As EU passport holders we can stay in Europe for longer periods. We have lived in the Vancouver area for over 30 years. We would like to exchange for 3 weeks to 2 months and would prefer to be in an active village, town or city. We enjoy walking, reading, history, world politics, classical, jazz and folk music, visiting museums, art galleries and concerts. We are in the process of learning to speak French. Most of our family live in Ireland and our daughters are experienced home exchangers.
We would prefer a mild climate in winter. We are experienced, careful pet and house sitters with references.
