Lovely 4 Bed home in WOODHALL SPA, ENGLAND

We live in a 17th Century thatched cottage situated in a quiet village in the English countryside in an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Just 25 minutes from the beautiful historic city of Lincoln and 1/2 hr. to the sandy beaches of the coast. There are numerous attractions and Stately Homes in the area – many scenes in the current film of the Da Vinci Code were shot at Lincoln cathedral and also Burghley House and Belvoir castle, all nearby sites. Our local town, Woodhall Spa, is famous for its internationally acclaimed Golf course which ranks amongst the top 50 worldwide. Horncastle, our nearest town, has recently become a Mecca for antique lovers since being awarded the title of Britains’ Best Antiques Town—By Millers Price Guide.

Our house is some 300+ years old. We have recently been informed by Homelink that our last exchange partner returned a perfect score evaluation….. This means we describe our home accurately, prepare for exchanges well, and leave our exchange partners' homes in good order. We have gathered several of these over the last 2 years since we began exchanging – we have now completed 14 swaps in all, having just returned from a 3 week swap to the USA.

Our local Tourist office are always happy to send out literature about the area… so please ask me and I will get them to send you stuff. This still remains a relatively unexploited corner of Britain so, unlike so much of England, the roads are still quiet and uncongested and the countryside peaceful.
