Modern house close to the water - Als, Denmark

We are located right down to the inner fjord of Augustenborg.
Our house were built in 1970 and completely restored in 2014. The house has 2 floors. On the south side of the house there is a balcony in the full length of the house overlooking the Fjord and the harbor. The garden has 3 levels. First level is facing the street in front of the house. Level 2 is located towards the water and has a large patio under the balcony facing south. The 3rd level is down by the water where you find a path along the water leading to a lovely forest, a castle and a dedicated bathing area in walking distance. Daily shopping possibilities in the village, less than 10 min walk away.

About the location

Our house is located on an island called Als connected to the south east of Jutland with 2 bridges. From our balcony you can see the yacht harbour 1 km away. 4 km away you find an 18 holes golf course. 14km away you find a beautiful child friendly sand beach. 1 hour drive away you find Legoland. 2 hours drive away from Aarhus. Odense and Hamburg (Germany). Copenhagen is app. 3 hours drive away.

The area has a long and interesting history and is closely related to the royal family in Denmark.

There are several historical castles in the area - Graasten Castle is summer residence to the Queen of Denmark only app. 20 km away. The area is perfect for cycling - We have 2 Mountain bikes (but not mountains :o)
