We live in a Mexican beach house on a quiet street in the old part of Acapulco. The house has a beautiful sea view where we watched 4 frolicking whales and have also seen sea-turtles, dolphins and leaping Manta Rays who make a sound like a bad belly flop ! It is 5 minutes from the nearest beach, cliff divers and yacht club, 20 minutes from shops, golf club, restaurants and nightlife and 45 from airport. The weather varies from fabulous to wonderful with outbreaks of marvelous.
The house has 4 bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, American satellite tv, large dining/sitting room, modern kitchen and breakfast area, home office and laundry room. It comes with a day maid who can cook basic breakfast and lunch if you are not tempted out by the multitude of local eateries. There is also a gardener/handyman who deals with our 3 very small dogs and 2 well behaved cats. We have a tiny but spectacular horizon pool...

Our house comfortably sleeps 7/8 (1 king, 1 queen, 3 singles, 1 futon). It is in the old part of town next door to where JFK & Jacqui spent their honeymoon and where Sinatra, Weismuller, Flynn etc partied till dawn. We are pretty spontaneous and might well be available for last minute exchanges, especially with the U.S. We are now thinking the first 2 weeks of December 2010: Switzerland, and will need a house sitter for August 2010... .
