Our home (with pool) is perfect for families & friends. Comfortably accommodating 6-8 guests. Situated in a fabulous location, 15 min walk to the historical market town of Battle (with fast direct trains to London). A short drive to Bodiam Castle, Batemans, Hastings, Bexhill-on-Sea and Rye.

Tunbridge Wells, Eastbourne and the incredible beach, Camber Sands all just 35 mins away. Beautiful views + walks directly from the door to local countryside - a perfect retreat for all.

The space
This light, spacious, contemporary home is entered via the main porch into a large entrance hall, with a cloakroom, utility room, boot room, large living room and kitchen/breakfast room leading from it. Downstairs are also 2 of the bedrooms, both with double beds and a family bath/shower room. The first floor has two large bedrooms, both with superking beds and ensuite bathrooms (one has a huge, contemporary bath). The main terrace houses the stainless steel swimming pool which has an `endless swimjet` giving hours of entertainment! There is also table tennis and a trampoline, plus a large garden to enjoy. The back of the house has an enclosed, fenced in gravelled garden.

The kitchen/breakfast room has a vaulted ceiling and is fitted with a good range of units with marble worksurfaces incorporating an Everhot electric 3 oven cooker with 2 hotplates, integrated dishwasher and full height fridge and separate freezer and a stainless steel sink unit with Quooker ‘instant boiling water` tap. A central island/breakfast bar has fitted drawers and wine fridge. A pair of double doors to the front and sliding door out onto the rear terrace.

The house is approached off a shared track which also has a footpath leading across nearby farm and woodland. A graveled area to the front and side provides off road parking for several cars.

The house is situated next to a lovely Grade ll farmhouse. Part of their garden overlooks the lower lawn to the house and is something to be considered if total privacy is required.

The entire house is available, except for our two teenagers bedrooms which will be shut off. Please don`t hesitate to contact us if you have any questions at all.

About the location

We are situated on the outskirts of the beautiful market town, Battle just 0.9 miles from the High Street and only 1.5 miles from Battle mainline railway station with trains to London Charing Cross. Famous for the historical battle that took place in 1066 that marked the beginning of the Norman Conquest, modern-day Battle has become a vibrant Town with many independent retailers, bars and restaurants close to the historic abbey. We are lucky enough to be able to walk to our town but look out on a view with no houses, just fields and trees.
