Cottage in the Preseli Hills

A slate worker`s cottage set in a wooded valley with a stream running through it. We`ve tried to keep the character of the cottage; the rooms are cosy, with flagstones downstairs and floorboards with a rug in the double bedroom.
The accommodation has a double and a single room and bathroom on the first floor, with a shower room downstairs. The living room has a log burning stove, TV and DVD, and the kitchen / diner has electric cooker, fridge, dishwasher and microwave.
There is a large south facing garden that is not overlooked, with steps through the wood down to the stream.

About the location

We are in the centre of Pembrokeshire just south of the Preseli Hills so it is convenient for exploring much of the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path as well as walks across the Preselis. There are wonderful walks from the house along the river, on ancient footpaths across the fields and the quiet lanes bright with wild flowers in the spring.
Maenclochog is the closest village with a cafe, pub, general store and two garages.
Pembrokeshire has wonderful beaches, castles, islands for wildlife watching and lots of activities; riding, kayaking, surfing, coasteering...
