House in large village in Buckinghamshire countryside close to London and Oxford

Our house is a semi detached house with good size garden. The house was built in 1950s and is beautifully decorated inside with a mix or new and antique furniture but it also has a dishwasher and washer dryer. It has 4 double bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and another toilet downstairs.

The garden is mature and private with large decking area for outdoor dining.

About the location

We live in a pretty village/small town in an area of outstanding natural beauty in Buckinghamshire. It has lots of lovely cafes and restaurants within 5 minutes walk. There is a direct train line into London which takes 50 minutes into zone 1. Oxford is a 45 minute drive away. Our street is very friendly and Wendover is a very safe area to live. We have lovely quiet neighbours. We are in the Chilterns which is a beautiful area of gentle hills and woodland and there are lots of lovely walks nearby we also have 4 bikes which you can use to explore the area. However if you want to get into London the train is excellent with regular trains into the centre. There is a community swimming pool withing 5 minutes walk and a larger pool with lazy river and flumes within 15 minute drive. There is a squash and tennis court in the village and locally golf and horse riding. In Aylesbury there is a theatre which has all the top touring theatre and musical productions and a county museum. You are within a short drive of Oxford with all the culture it provides.
