Harboro

The main part of our house dates from 1863 with some new bits added across the decades. It has a large, modern kitchen/dining room with under-floor heating and a utility room off, a downstairs shower room, a large living room with wood-burning stove and a study/music room. Upstairs are three double bedrooms , a family bathroom and another small study.

We have a fairly large, well stocked garden, with a pretty, lit outside eating area.

About the location

Hallow village has a good pub/restaurant, a village school, a church and two small shops, one of which is also a post-office. We are close to the beautiful cathedral and university city of Worcester, which has many god cafes and restaurants and is connected by train to London, Birmingham and Wales.

There is a lot of beautiful countryside on our doorstep, including the Malvern Hills (Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty), the river Severn, the Cotswolds all within easy reach. We are an hour's drive form Stratford-on-Avon, home to the Royal Shakespeare Theatre and the historic cities of Hereford, Shrewsbury and Oxford. Birmingham (40 minutes by train or car) is the UK's vibrant, multicultural second city with a great range of shopping, eating and cultural opportunities.
The area is ideal for both energetic and gentler walkers and cyclists. We are just an hour's drive from beautiful mid-Wales (where we often spend time) and just a couple of hours from the beautiful south-west coast.
