A duplex flat with pool by the Mediterranean coast

Our house is situated in famous touristic town of ALANYA, only 2 minute to the beach. It is a duplex flat with two rooms, a kitchen, a bathroom, two balconies downstairs and two rooms, a bathroom, two big terraces with a sea view upstairs.

Our apartment is 5 storey and we are on the fifth floor with excellent views of the sea and is surrounded by greenhouses and banana trees.

Our apartment has a pool, three gazebos with barbecue, a gym and sauna, a small playground all in a green garden full of beautiful plants and trees. There are two blocks A and B, 10 flats in our block, and 25 studios in block B. The blocks are multi cultural with Turkish families and foreigners mostly from Sweden and Germany, most of whom come in the summer. Out of 35 flats, only 10-12 families live year round since most of the residents live abroad and only come for 1 or 2 weeks in the summer.

Our house is also very convenient for families with kids, lots of toys and books in English and our house has a Montessori setting for our son.

About the location

Alanya is a popular tourist friendly town with a great number of foreigners living permanently. Alanya is truly a melting pot with English, German, Russian,Polish and many more. We live in a peaceful part of Alanya called KESTEL, only 15 minutes from downtown. The beach is a 2 minute walk from our door,and it is never crowded and the sea is excellent with crystal clear water. There is a playground 1 minute from our door for kids.

There are 6 big supermarkets within 5 minute walk and local restaurants and a local market on Wednesdays with fresh and local produce like avacado, banana and strawberry. Kestel is very peaceful and silent and perfect for walking and cycling by the coast. There are buses going downtown every 10 minute from our door,or you can cycle as most people do.

Alanya is easy to reach from Europe with two airports nearby, Gazipaşa-Alanya (30 minutes), and Antalya (2.5 hrs) and there are many airlines flying directly to Antalya and Alanya. Alanya has a lot to offer from pubs to bistros with excellent food. Downtown is very lively teeming with shops, bars and restaurants. Alanya has a Mediterranean climate, thus very hot in the summer.

There is a big river (Dim Cayı) 20 minutes walk from our house and there are many restaurants up the river, with swimming options in the freezing water of the river.

You can also enjoy some daily excursions to Manavgat and Antalya for shopping and sightseeing. There are daily boat trips in Alanya every day from the harbour. Alanya has a historic castle, overlooking the town and offering excellent views over the harbour and Mediterranean.
