The apartment is generally very quite and the other residents are considerate however the floors can transmit heavy foot falls and so with this in mind outdoor shows may not be worn in the apartment and indoor exercising is strongly discouraged. Pets are not permitted in the building. There is secure garage parking (height restricted) for ONE car.

About the location

The apartment is one of the best located for access to Cambridge city centre and the University along the river path by foot (35mins) or bicycle (15 mins). It looks out on a large section of the River Cam that is busy with rowers and an occasional pleasure craft that provide a spectacle from the sheltered balcony that receives the afternoon and evening sun. Across the river there is an arboreal nature reserve, home to kingfishers and heron. Immediately adjacent there is a well stocked supermarket and beyond a comprehensive shopping mall. In the vicinity there is Mid Summer and Stourbridge Common`s providing a semi-rural environment. Venture further up the river and you pass the Colleges, Lamas Land, Lord Byron`s pool and reach Grantchester Meadow. Down stream the river path takes you out onto the Fens with quaint villages to explore and idyllic pubs for lunch. The train station is within walking distance and London is less than an hour away. A car is a hinderance in Cambridge as much of the centre is pedestrianized and four bicycles are available for your use.
