Liverpool with all its free museums, art gallery, Mersey Ferry, and Beatles tours etc is just 15 minutes away, or Chester in the opposite direction in half an hour.
The conservation area of Lord Leverhulmes Port Sunlight, and the Lady Lever art gallery is 1.3 miles from the house reached by either train or bus. Theatre here also.
The nearest supermarket is Lidl, slow walk 10 mins or fast 5 mins.
Nearest town with cinema, swimming pool, shope etc is Birkenhead, and from there buses leave to all the wonderful places on the Wirral. New Brighton, West Kirby, Parkgate, where Emma Hamilton would meet Nelson.
You could walk the Wirral Way, or walk down to Rock Park conservation area and see the skyline of Liverpool across the Mersey.
