Ground floor flat with gardens - Bournemouth

Our garden flat is light and spacious with two large double bedrooms. There is a lovely modern bathroom with bath and shower and one of the bedrooms is en suite.

Our main living area is Open Plan looking out over the garden and the Sweet Chestnut trees in the wood behind us.

We have recently installed a brand new kitchen with all the expected fittings, built in dishwasher, fridge freezer and plenty of storage cupboards. There is a large range cooker and microwave too.

Our washing machine and tumble dryer are located in the adjacent garage along with further fridge and freezer.

About the location

We live in a leafy avenue that is quiet and all properties are well maintained.

We live but 4 miles from the nearest award winning Bournemouth beaches, also on a direct bus route and are three miles from the town centre.

Redhill is a leafy area, originally woodland with lots of wooded areas still present and accessible for walking through. At the bottom of Redhill Drive is the river Stour where you can also walk alongside for several miles.

10 miles away is the ancient woodland of The New Forest. Walking, camping, cycling and picnicking are some of the activities that take place there. Many animals, particularly ponies, roam freely.

It takes us only two hours to drive to London from where we live making a day visit feasible and nearby, some 15 miles away, is historic Winchester that sits on the edge of England`s South Downs. With its wonderful Cathedral, City Mill and nearby Wolvesey Castle.

20 minutes away you can visit Southampton with its SeaCity Museum and interactive model of The Titanic and one hour away is Portsmouth with its historic dockyard. It is possible to go aboard the HMS Victory, the HMS Warrior and walk alongside the remains of the Henry V111 ship, The Marie Rose.

The coastline if Dorset has much to offer with its Jurassic coast, numerous walks and beautiful towns and villages.

Crossing into Wiltshire we can visit Stonehenge, just an hour away by car.

5 miles away is Poole with its own very beautiful beaches. It has the award winning Lighthouse Theatre and the world famous Poole pottery.

We have lived here for 6 years but find we are still exploring the wonderful wider area.
