Appletree Cottage

Stone and thatched chocolate box cottage - probably built 1680-1720. Fully modernised. There are two extensions to the cottage, one at the back is a double storey garden room. One to the side (not shown in photos) is a bedroom with en-suite and doors out to the garden.

We also have a three bedroom town house in Pezenas in the South of France which we can offer either instead of or as well as the English house. We have put a couple of internal photos (the outside is a bit dull).

About the location

Opposite deer park (Bradgate Park, https://www.bradgatepark.org/) and former home of Lady Jane Grey (queen of nine days). Trains from Leicester (7 miles away) to London 1 hour 6 minutes. Motorways to London, Nottingham, Sheffield, Leeds (M1) Birmingham (M69, M42). Airport with international flights 12 miles away.

There are walks from the house into Bradgate Park and several footpaths into the countryside.
